Assistant Manager - KG Sports Bar

About the role

KG Sports Bar is a new American sports bar in Brisbane, built for big games and a full-room atmosphere, with large screen walls, premium sound, cold beer and classic American bar food. Accor is looking for an energetic Assistant Manager to lead the team and deliver a high standard of service across the venue. The bar operates 7 days a week from 11am to late.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a positive, guest-focused team
• Drive sales and increase revenue opportunities
• Manage the day-to-day operation of the bar and the team
• Manage the roster, costings and forecasting
• Train and develop the team
• Provide professional service

Required profile

• Demonstrated success in a similar role
• Previous use of Shiji and QR code ordering systems
• Reliable, easy-going and a genuine people person
• A real passion and motivation for the hospitality industry
• A valid QLD RSA certificate; RMLV highly desirable

Required skills

• Understanding of beer, wine, spirits and food
• Experience with Shiji and QR code ordering systems
