About the role
Flannerys is seeking a full‑time Assistant Manager to join its North Shore store in Sydney. This on‑site position supports the Store Manager in driving sales, maintaining operational standards, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations and lead a team of retail staff.
- Ensure high‑quality customer service and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and loss‑prevention measures.
- Implement company policies and store procedures consistently.
- Train new employees, monitor performance, and provide coaching.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to meet sales targets and operational goals.
Required profile
- Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
- Proven customer‑service expertise in a retail environment.
- Experience with inventory management and operational oversight.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to handle issues efficiently.
- Prior retail experience is strongly preferred.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours.
