Assistant Manager – Emerging Corporate

About the role

As an Assistant Manager within ANZ's Emerging Corporate team, you will partner with a Senior Relationship Manager to support a portfolio of mid‑market trading businesses across Queensland. You will apply credit and risk assessment, structure deals and deliver a superior customer service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Relationship Manager in preparing credit papers, financial monitoring reports and loan documentation.
• Conduct financial analysis and review complex lending structures.
• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of customers' business and financial needs.
• Provide solutions for account maintenance and respond to customer requests.
• Maintain a well‑managed portfolio that complies with all relevant policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Prior experience in commercial banking frontline roles, commercial lending, accountancy, insolvency, corporate advisory or funds management.
• Ability to assess creditworthiness using both qualitative and quantitative factors, with strong financial statement analysis skills.
• Understanding of common and complex lending structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
