Assistant Manager, Brand and Performance Marketing

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Brand and Performance Marketing will lead full‑funnel media strategies across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing, you will blend brand storytelling with performance tactics to drive traffic, sales and customer loyalty on owned eCommerce sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with digital marketing agencies to execute, analyze and optimise paid media and affiliate campaigns.
• Monitor spend, adjust budgets and maximise ROI through regular performance reviews.
• Conduct A/B testing on creative, messaging and targeting to improve acquisition and re‑activation efforts.
• Identify and activate new digital channels to generate revenue.
• Write and brief campaign briefs for agencies, ensuring effective execution.
• Handle reporting, analysis and budget management to guarantee solid returns on investment.
• Partner with regional and local teams to support product launches, collections and promotions.
• Collaborate with the wider Brand Marketing team to align digital campaign calendars.
• Develop and execute holistic media strategies that meet brand priorities and commercial targets.
• Translate global and regional frameworks into local media plans and manage media budgets.
• Own and optimise full‑funnel performance campaigns on UA.com.au, working closely with eCommerce and Digital Merchandising teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning, executing and analysing digital media campaigns.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive optimisation.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with agencies, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage budgets and deliver measurable ROI.
