Assistant Financial Controller (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Accor is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to support the Director of Finance for a 12‑month fixed‑term parental leave cover. The role will be based at the flagship Novotel & Ibis hotels on Darling Harbour, helping drive financial performance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day finance operations, including compliance and owner relations.
• Prepare timely weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable and payroll functions.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to Accor policies and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in hospitality.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
• High attention to detail, integrity and ethical standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Sun Accounting (highly desirable).
