Assistant Clinic Manager

About the role

MECCA Aesthetica on Bourke Street is seeking a full‑time Assistant Clinic Manager to support the Clinic Manager in driving performance, operational efficiency and a strong culture within a team of skilled dermal therapists.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate, coach and support the team to deliver an exclusive MECCA customer experience.
• Lead operational and administrative tasks, optimise rosters and drive productivity, client conversion, re‑booking and sales targets.
• Manage adverse events, resolve client concerns and complaints.
• Promote health and safety by leading by example.
• Consult customers on skincare needs and provide expert advice.
• Perform hands‑on treatments using medical‑grade equipment such as microdermabrasion, advanced peels and LED.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members.

Required profile

• Dermal therapist with at least 12 months experience in a fast‑paced retail or clinic environment (mandatory).
• Minimum 12 months management experience in a clinic setting.
• Diploma in Dermal Therapy, Beauty Therapy or a Bachelor in Dermal Science/Health Science (preferred).
• Experience training and developing staff in both practical and theoretical aspects.
• Strong communication skills with peers, managers, stakeholders and clients.
• Passionate about creating excellent customer experiences and building strong relationships.
• Well‑presented, confident, organised and excellent time‑management abilities.
