Asbestos Removal Supervisor – Mount Gambier (Relocation Support)

About the role

Watts Group SA is seeking an experienced Asbestos Removal Supervisor to lead Class A (friable) and Class B (non‑friable) projects across the Limestone Coast. Based in Mount Gambier, you will own the full lifecycle of jobs, from set‑up to clearance, while enjoying relocation assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise Class A and Class B asbestos removal on residential, commercial and government sites.
• Manage crews, set performance standards, and ensure strict safety compliance.
• Coordinate enclosures, decontamination units, air monitoring and clearances with licensed assessors.
• Maintain accurate paperwork: ARCPs, SWMS, sign‑ons, registers.
• Interact directly with clients, assessors and regulators.
• Mentor junior removalists and develop future crew leaders.

Required profile

• Class A asbestos removal supervisor accreditation recognised by SafeWork SA (or equivalent training with relevant experience).
• Class B supervisor accreditation with solid hands‑on experience in both friable and non‑friable removal.
• Current driver’s licence (MR preferred), white card and working‑at‑heights certification.
• Proven ability to lead a crew, set expectations and enforce safety standards.
• Comfortable with site paperwork and digital reporting systems.
• Willingness to travel for regional and interstate projects when required.
