Allied Health Services Manager (Occupational Therapist)

About the role

A highly regarded early intervention provider in Melbourne's western suburbs is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist with a passion for paediatrics to become its Allied Health Services Manager. Based mainly in a Williamstown clinic, the role combines a small clinical caseload with leadership duties such as mentoring and supervision, while continuing to help children and families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the allied health team
• Mentor and support clinicians, including new graduates
• Maintain a clinical caseload of about 2-3 clients per day (around 15 billable hours per week)
• Work with Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners
• Contribute to service quality, clinical development and team culture
• Support the growth of the Williamstown clinic and work occasionally from the Hawthorn clinic

Required profile

• Experienced Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist with previous paediatric experience
• Enjoys supervising, mentoring and developing clinicians
• Passionate about early intervention and family-centred care
• Lives reasonably close to Williamstown and is willing to support the Hawthorn clinic occasionally

• Up to $120,000 plus superannuation
