Agent Strategy Manager

About the role

Decagon is a conversational AI platform that helps brands deliver concierge customer experiences across voice, chat, email, SMS and other channels. Its Agent Strategy team works with customers to guide deployments, support adoption and turn customer insight into product strategy. As an Agent Strategy Manager you will partner with customers, co-pilot them through their deployment journey and work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering. The role is in-office.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the Agent Strategy function and lay its foundation at Decagon
• Build long-lasting partnerships with customers and act as their strategic advisor
• Co-pilot customers from project scoping through adoption and value realization
• Keep up with product features and the wider AI landscape to master best practices
• Communicate with stakeholders from individual contributors to C-level executives
• Support new projects and initiatives for the team and customers
• Work with Agent Product and Engineering to find technical improvements and influence the product roadmap

Required profile

• 4+ years of customer-facing experience in a technical, B2B SaaS role such as Technical Account Manager
• Proven track record managing large customers and driving visible, multi-stakeholder projects
• Understanding of GTM sales teams and processes
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or similar (even better)

Required skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex ideas simply
• Strong interpersonal, persuasion and teamwork skills
• Technical acumen and interest in the agent-building process (coding not required)
• Nice to have: familiarity with agentic AI deployments in large organizations, customer support processes, and a high-growth startup background
