After Hours Vet Nurse – Part‑time

About the role

The Animal Referral Hospital is looking for part‑time Veterinary Nurses to cover evening, overnight and weekend shifts for hospitalized surgical patients. You will join a 24/7 specialist emergency team, providing continuous, high‑quality care to in‑patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to hospitalized surgical patients.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive clinical team.
• Operate under the guidance and direction of Emergency Veterinarians.
• Apply advanced nursing skills and sound clinical judgement in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Veterinary Nurse with experience in a specialist centre or busy general practice.
• Thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys multitasking.
• Motivated, compassionate and committed to excellent patient care.
• Can work confidently and autonomously during after‑hours shifts.
