Advisory Solution Consultant

About the role

ServiceNow is hiring a full-time Advisory Solution Consultant in Canberra. You will help understand clients' challenges, propose tailored solutions and make sure they are implemented smoothly. The role sits alongside the sales team and involves acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and business objectives.
• Analyse client needs and pain points in depth and develop customised solutions.
• Create presentations, proposals and demonstrations that communicate the value of the solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights, best practices and recommendations.
• Run product demonstrations and address client questions and concerns.
• Work with product development and project management teams to ensure smooth implementation.
• Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Keep up with industry trends and emerging technologies, and share knowledge and mentor colleagues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in solution consulting, technical sales or a related role.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Business, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making or problem-solving, such as using AI-powered tools, automating workflows or analysing AI-driven insights.
• Demonstrated experience building and nurturing client relationships.
• Experience working with Federal Government, Public Sector, Defence and Intelligence; baseline security clearance or higher preferred.

• Strong technical acumen and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to tailor messages to different stakeholders.
