Store Manager - Hype DC Canberra Central

About the role

Hype DC, Accent Group's premium, limited and exclusive sneaker retailer, is looking for an experienced business leader to be its Store Manager at the Canberra Central location. The role is about delivering the brand vision, building a high-performance culture, creating memorable experiences for customers and staff, and achieving operational excellence. The manager works closely with the Area Manager, State Manager and the in-store team.

Key responsibilities

• Create a people-first culture by empowering and developing talent within the team
• Drive the financial sales goals and metrics of a multimillion-dollar store
• Be on the floor 80% of the week, keeping the customer at the centre of decisions
• Coach, support and give feedback to the team
• Recruit, select and onboard new team members
• Deliver a seamless omni-channel experience in-store
• Ensure visual merchandising excellence and a safe, enjoyable store

Required profile

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a premium, fast-paced retail environment with a proven record of driving sales and KPI targets
• Team player with a passion for best-in-class experiences
• Able to motivate and develop a large team
• Strategic thinker who identifies growth opportunities
• Experience managing rosters and achieving cost-efficiency metrics
