Advanced Software Engineering Lead

About the role

Altitude is looking for an Advanced Software Engineering Lead to drive complex client engagements across multiple clouds and technology stacks. This senior, hands‑on position involves guiding executive teams to translate technology into measurable business outcomes while fostering a collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement high‑performance solutions using Python, Go, Java and TypeScript.
• Lead technical delivery, architectural reviews and migration planning across Azure, AWS, GCP, Tencent and hybrid environments.
• Design, integrate and operationalise complex solutions, including orchestration and accelerators.
• Manage multiple client portfolios, assess technical debt and adapt strategies as business needs evolve.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to client executives, translating technical concepts into clear business outcomes.

Required profile

• Deep, hands‑on expertise in multiple programming languages and modern distributed architectures (microservices, event‑driven, serverless).
• Advanced multi‑cloud migration experience, including auditing, capacity profiling and target‑state design.
• Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) and robust CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, high‑pressure environments and switch contexts rapidly.
• Excellent executive communication skills for presenting architectural findings to technical and C‑level stakeholders.
