Advanced Scaffolder and Leading Hand

About the role

EnerMech is seeking experienced Advanced Scaffolders and Scaffolding Leading Hands to join the team working on the AMPOL Refinery project in Lytton, Queensland. The roles involve safe erection, modification and dismantling of scaffold systems in a live industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Erect, modify and dismantle a variety of scaffold systems.
• Work safely within a live industrial environment and adhere to site safety procedures.
• Support shutdown and maintenance activities.
• Lead scaffold crews, coordinate daily work activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Mentor and support scaffold team members and liaise with supervisors, planners and project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Advanced Scaffolding Licence and Construction Industry White Card.
• Current Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications (highly regarded).
• Previous experience in heavy industrial, oil & gas, refinery, mining or petrochemical environments.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality, ability to pass site medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Australian working rights and residence within ~30km of Lytton.
