Ad Tech Operations Lead

About the role

The Ad Tech Operations Lead will head a specialist team delivering advertising products and supporting the ad‑operations function. You will work closely with product, sales and engineering teams to implement new ad formats and drive media growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build native and HTML5 ad templates from scratch and troubleshoot GAM tag integrations across web and in‑app environments.
• Develop and maintain rich‑media ad formats for desktop, mobile and app platforms, and manage the technical implementation of display and video units.
• Analyse ad‑server reports, surface issues, and provide technical support during site launches and updates.
• Partner with product teams to align new ad products with business objectives and lead third‑party vendor selection and management.
• Mentor and develop the ad‑ops/ad‑tech team, conduct performance check‑ins and oversee onboarding of new members.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating, managing and optimising campaigns across display, video, native and rich‑media formats.
• Strong understanding of the programmatic landscape, including DSP/SSP dynamics and ad‑serving fundamentals.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex ad‑tech issues across multiple platforms.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across commercial, product and tech teams.
