ACEM Trainee – Full/Part Time in Private Emergency Dept, South Brisbane

About the role

Private Emergency Health Australia (PEHA) is seeking ACEM Stage 2 or Stage 3 trainees for a full‑time or part‑time accredited training position at the Mater Private Hospital South Brisbane Emergency Department. The role offers extensive clinical exposure to adult and paediatric emergencies within a supportive private‑hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct emergency medical care to adult and paediatric patients in the private ED.
• Utilise onsite radiology, pathology, cardiac catheterisation laboratory and ICU resources as part of patient management.
• Collaborate with admitting specialists across multiple disciplines.
• Participate in structured mentorship with experienced FACEM consultants.

Required profile

• Current ACEM trainee – Stage 2 or Stage 3.
• Committed to progressing through ACEM training and preparing for examinations.
• Interest in building a sustainable career within a national emergency‑medicine network.
