Accounts Payable Officer

About the role

Luxury Escapes is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join its Finance team in Sydney. You will manage the end‑to‑end accounts payable process across multiple entities and currencies, supporting accurate and timely financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices with correct entity, GL account, department and cost centre coding.
• Perform three‑way matching between purchase orders, receipts and invoices.
• Run regular and urgent payment runs across multiple entities and currencies, loading payments to banking platforms and issuing remittance advice.
• Maintain supplier master data and respond to supplier and budget owner queries.
• Reconcile supplier statements, resolve invoice discrepancies and monitor the accounts payable inbox and ageing.
• Support month‑end close with accurate cut‑off, accruals and reporting, and provide documentation for audit requests.
• Assist with Oracle NetSuite implementation testing and process documentation.

Required profile

• Commercial experience in high‑volume, multi‑entity accounts payable.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle NetSuite for AP, purchase orders and approval workflows.
• Strong knowledge of three‑way matching, purchase order‑based procurement and GL coding.
• Ability to manage payment runs across multiple currencies and investigate discrepancies to resolution.
• High attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines independently.
