Financial Controller

About the role

Take day‑to‑day ownership of financial control for a fast‑growing Australian renewable energy group. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own budgeting, forecasting and quarterly reporting while leading a small finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting and quarterly reporting for the group.
• Run group consolidation and report to an offshore head office.
• Manage bank and lender reporting, including covenant compliance.
• Lead a Financial Accountant and Accounts Payable staff.
• Build finance function improvements such as dashboard reporting, faster consolidation models and process automation.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Hands‑on end‑to‑end financial control experience, including group consolidation.
• Lender or covenant reporting experience, preferably in infrastructure, renewables or related sectors.
• Comfortable in small‑to‑mid‑size businesses with minimal supervision.
• Meticulous, technically sharp and a clear communicator at all levels.
