Accountant – Private Clients & Indigenous Trusts

About the role

Join a purpose‑driven multi‑family office in Perth, supporting ultra‑high‑net‑worth private clients and Indigenous Trusts. This hands‑on accountant role blends compliance work with client‑facing engagements, offering exposure to complex financial structures and meaningful projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge financial statements, income tax returns and BAS for diverse client structures.
• Produce Indigenous Trust cash‑flow reports and related compliance documentation.
• Develop budgets and project‑based financial reports.
• Attend client meetings, create meeting materials and travel as required.
• Liaise with auditors, the ATO and external advisers, managing workflows and deadlines.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in professional services or public practice.
• Degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce.
• CA or CPA commenced, or willingness to commence.
• Strong competence in tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements, including regional trips.
• Interest in working with Indigenous Trusts and culturally sensitive environments.
