Accountant – Music & Entertainment Clients

About the role

Join White Sky, Australia’s leading music accounting firm, now part of BlueRock. As an Accountant you will be at the heart of the client experience, managing a premium book of music and entertainment clients and delivering a full suite of accounting services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high‑engagement music and entertainment clients.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore teams to deliver timely, tailored accounting solutions.
• Oversee ATO interactions, monitor compliance deadlines and prepare required reports.
• Manage team workflows, drive efficiency and uphold service standards.
• Identify opportunities to add value through BlueRock’s broader tax, legal and wealth services.

Required profile

• Client‑focused with experience in client services or practice management within accounting or business services.
• Technically strong and comfortable with BAS preparation, ATO portal, Xero and CRM tools.
• Highly organised, able to juggle multiple clients and deadlines while anticipating issues.
• Genuine interest in the music/creative industry or prior experience serving such clients.
• Proven people‑leadership experience, managing teams or contractors.
