Accountant & Insurance Coordinator – Finance Team

About the role

Join Pilbara Ports' Finance Team in Perth as an Accountant/Insurance Coordinator. You will provide accurate accounting services and manage the insurance function, supporting the organisation’s financial health and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with taxation legislation and corporate policies.
• Coordinate insurance arrangements, including policy administration and claims support.
• Provide proactive financial advice and reporting to business units.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in accounting and knowledge of relevant standards.
• Understanding of taxation legislation and its practical application.
• Strong collaborative communication style.
