Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A

About the role

Join an ASX‑listed gold producer as a senior FP&A professional supporting interstate mining operations. Based in the Subiaco corporate office, you will lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across the business and travel regularly to site locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgets and rolling forecasts for operating and capital expenditure.
• Develop financial models using mine plans, production schedules and operating assumptions.
• Prepare site P&L, unit‑cost and KPI reporting, including cost‑per‑tonne, cost‑per‑ounce and AISC analysis.
• Investigate performance against budget with site personnel and recommend actions.
• Support capital investment decisions through scenario modelling, NPV and payback analysis.
• Provide analysis and commentary to operational, technical and finance stakeholders.
• Improve management reporting, dashboards and planning processes.

Required profile

• Senior FP&A, management accounting or commercial finance experience within mining or resources.
• Proven ability to partner with operational, technical and site‑based stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of mining cost drivers, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Accounting, finance or commerce degree with CA or CPA qualification.
• Willingness to travel interstate regularly and hold a current driver’s licence and full Australian work rights.
