Account Manager – STAR102.7 & 4CA

About the role

As an Account Manager you will build strong partnerships with local businesses and develop creative solutions that give brands a voice and drive revenue growth across STAR102.7 and 4CA radio stations in Cairns and Far North Queensland.

Key responsibilities

• Find, grow and retain client partnerships to maximise revenue and market share.
• Build trusted relationships with local and national advertisers, acting as a strategic commercial partner.
• Develop compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Own sales budget, pipeline management and accurate revenue forecasting.
• Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking and lead follow‑up.
• Collaborate with promotions, content, digital and sales support teams to deliver impactful campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, media, advertising or a commercial environment.
• Strong ability to build relationships and sell solutions, not just products.
• Confident communicator with solid presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, resilient and commercially curious, with an interest in entertainment and media.
