Account Manager – Retail

About the role

Fisher & Paykel is seeking a Sydney‑based Account Manager to nurture long‑lasting relationships with key retail customers and drive growth of our premium appliance portfolio. The role combines strategic planning, execution and proactive support to ensure our brand is represented consistently across stores.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute Fisher & Paykel retail strategy within an assigned territory, aligning with global growth targets.
• Manage and develop existing key account relationships to capture growth opportunities and meet annual sales targets.
• Coordinate product placement, marketing programmes and promotional activities to increase market share and profitability.
• Provide product training and on‑display support to boost sales performance.
• Report regularly to the Regional Retail Manager, delivering insights and innovative solutions.
• Ensure brand‑aligned merchandising and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Monitor daily sales metrics to maximise sell‑through, revenue and margin.

Required profile

• Proven track record of increasing sales and margins with key accounts.
• Experience in the SDA (Specifier, Designer and Architect) environment is advantageous.
• Strong negotiating and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
• Ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable store‑level plans.
• Excellent communication, presentation and training facilitation abilities.
• Highly organised, autonomous and results‑driven with a passion for premium home appliances.
