Account Manager Lead, Client Success

About the role

As an Account Manager Lead, Client Success (CSM) you will build and strengthen strategic relationships with key clients across the payments and banking ecosystem, acting as a trusted advisor and senior client advocate within FIS.

Key responsibilities

• Own strategic relationships with key clients, serving as the payment portfolio specialist and trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.
• Develop and execute account strategies to increase client value, product adoption, retention and long‑term partnership outcomes.
• Drive renewals, cross‑sell, upsell and expansion opportunities while supporting commercial negotiations.
• Analyse client performance, service metrics and market trends to deliver actionable recommendations.
• Lead complex client escalations and coordinate timely responses across internal teams.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in client success, account management or strategic customer engagement with senior executives.
• Strong knowledge of payments and banking ecosystems, including card services, transaction processing, issuing, acquiring, switching and merchant solutions.
• Experience managing complex client escalations and delivering outcomes in high‑pressure environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving renewals, account growth, cross‑sell and upsell.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
