Boutique Technician – Luxury Watch Retail

About the role

We are seeking a Boutique Technician to join our Tissot boutique at Westfield Sydney. The role combines hands‑on watch servicing with delivering a premium client experience in line with Tissot standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, personalised client service in accordance with Tissot standards.
• Assess service requirements and deliver first‑level technical assistance.
• Perform warranty and in‑house repairs, including battery, bracelet and case servicing.
• Disassemble and re‑assemble basic mechanical and quartz movements.
• Conduct quality checks on watches returned from the Service Centre.
• Manage repairs, service requests, pre‑authorisations and client follow‑ups.
• Maintain accurate repair, CRM and service records.
• Oversee spare‑parts stock and daily operational requirements.
• Support boutique operations such as POS, cashiering and stocktakes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product and technical knowledge through ongoing training.

Required profile

• Strong technical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent manual dexterity and confidence using precision tools.
• Passion for watches, craftsmanship and quality.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Calm, confident and proactive approach.
• Previous technical or precision‑based experience is highly regarded.
