Account Manager – Fruit & Vegetable Sector

About the role

As an Account Manager within Primary Connect, you will deepen relationships with existing fresh produce customers and drive organic growth across storage, logistics and related services. The role combines strategic engagement with hands‑on account management, supporting Woolworths Group’s supply‑chain solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen long‑term relationships with established fruit and vegetable customers through regular face‑to‑face meetings.
• Identify and develop new revenue opportunities within the existing customer base.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and supply‑chain solutions to meet financial and satisfaction targets.
• Collaborate with the FV Business Development Manager to analyse conversations and generate leads.

Required profile

• Background in FMCG or direct fruit & veg with experience in account, commercial buying or category management.
• Strong supply‑chain or transport‑logistics knowledge.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work autonomously.
• Willingness to travel weekly across VIC and quarterly to TAS.

Required skills

• Experience using AI or digital tools to generate insights and leads.
• Familiarity with sales frameworks (training provided).
