Account Growth Manager (VIC)

About the role

Join Zip’s Account Growth team to drive growth across a portfolio of strategic merchant partners in Victoria. You will blend account management and field management to shape the future of payments, delivering commercial outcomes and exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own growth, retention and performance of strategic merchant partners, creating account plans that drive revenue and customer acquisition.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders from frontline teams to senior leaders.
• Identify and execute growth opportunities, negotiating commercial initiatives that create mutual value.
• Deliver face‑to‑face training, coaching and ongoing support to ensure merchant confidence and compliance.
• Conduct regular business reviews, sharing insights, performance trends and recommendations.
• Analyse merchant performance data to improve sales, customer experience and product adoption.
• Implement Best Practice Integration standards, optimizing Zip branding and in‑store experiences.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Legal, Sales Operations and Customer Experience teams.
• Act as the merchant’s voice, providing feedback for product and commercial strategy.
• Manage escalations while maintaining governance, compliance and risk management.
