Account Executive

About the role

Join Marsh Australia's Risk Management team as an Account Executive in Melbourne. This full‑time hybrid position requires you to be in the office at least three days a week and focuses on growing, retaining, and servicing a portfolio of high‑value priority accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage tailored risk management and insurance programmes for clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key client decision‑makers through regular communication and meetings.
• Expand and retain a high‑value portfolio to meet team objectives.
• Oversee risk and insurance programme renewals, staying current on major insurance categories and regulations.
• Represent Marsh at industry events and client functions to grow professional networks.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in insurance broking with a developing understanding of business and organisational risk management.
• Proven track record of managing client accounts and engagement.
• Exceptional communication, influencing and negotiation abilities.
• Tier 1 FSRA compliance; ANZIIF membership and tertiary qualification are beneficial but not mandatory.
