Account Executive

About the role

Join a fast‑growing, AirTree‑backed startup as an Account Executive selling a SaaS platform that helps large Australian and New Zealand companies manage modern‑slavery, emissions and biodiversity risks in their supply chains. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, targeting mid‑market and enterprise accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage your own pipeline using warm prospects and outbound outreach.
• Conduct discovery calls to uncover supply‑chain risk challenges and tailor demos to buyer groups (HR, legal, procurement, risk, sustainability).
• Lead negotiations, write proposals, and close deals while maintaining accurate records in HubSpot.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success and Marketing to refine the sales approach.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling technical B2B SaaS end‑to‑end, including outbound prospecting.
• Comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving processes.
• Competitive, win‑oriented mindset and ability to adapt communication for compliance managers, lawyers or CFOs.

Required skills

• HubSpot or Salesforce CRM proficiency.
• Use of AI tools for research and preparation.
