Account Executive – Insurance Broking

About the role

Gallagher, a global leader in insurance broking, risk management and consulting, is looking for a motivated Account Executive to work alongside Senior Brokers on diverse and complex accounts. You will be an integral member of a team delivering tailored risk solutions and service excellence, growing your skills and experience in a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing corporate clients, taking a proactive approach to account management and service delivery.
• Provide day-to-day and renewal support on a corporate client portfolio.
• Describe insurable risk, design appropriate insurance solutions and negotiate deals in the global insurance market.
• Build strong partnerships with underwriting partners.
• Manage the budget, business plan and debtors.
• Promote the Arthur J. Gallagher brand locally, regionally and nationally.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience, or a High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of related experience.
• A license is required.
• Preferred: a professional designation such as CPCU, CIC or ARM.
• Ideally 18-24 months of prior experience with corporate or mid-market products.

Required skills

• Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification.
• Excellent sales capability and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a practical, service-first approach.
