Account Executive – Construction Risk Management

About the role

Join Marsh’s Risk Management Construction team in Brisbane as an Account Executive. You will support senior brokers in servicing construction‑related insurance portfolios, handling administration, technical support and business development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Senior and Principal Account Brokers with portfolio management and client servicing.
• Process invoices, policy accounting, quotations, premium calculations, policy wording, certificates of currency and related documentation accurately and on time.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers in the construction and building sector.
• Build a basic technical understanding of relevant insurance classes and specialist services offered to clients.

Required profile

• Experience in the insurance industry with a Tier 1 qualification.
• Interest in the construction/building industry and strong client‑service motivation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of account management and insurance industry practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
