Account Executive – Commercial Fleet & Transport Insurance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Account Executive to manage transport and commercial insurance portfolios, with a focus on large fleet risks in South Australia. You will join a close‑knit, family‑run brokerage and work alongside a senior account executive within a supportive team of eight.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio centred on transport and commercial insurance, with roughly 70% large fleet accounts.
• Support commercial clients covering property, farms, and general commercial risks (approximately 30% of the portfolio).
• Handle renewals, endorsements, and client queries accurately and promptly.
• Process client instructions with high attention to detail.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet and commercial clients over time.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transport and commercial insurance, especially large fleet risks.
• Ability to work independently after a structured handover and training period.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent client‑service orientation.
• Willingness to contribute to a small, supportive team environment.
