Account Executive – APAC (SaaS Sales)

About the role

Vasion is seeking an ambitious Account Executive to drive new business and expand its footprint across the SMB and Commercial segments in the APAC region. Based in Australia and working remotely or in a hybrid model, you will own a quota for new logo acquisition and account expansion while collaborating with BDR, partner, marketing, and customer success teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan for SMB and Commercial accounts across ANZ and the broader APAC region.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, partner‑sourced leads, and inbound demand.
• Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers in IT, operations, and finance, with a focus on public‑sector verticals such as education, healthcare, and government.
• Run product demonstrations and value‑based conversations to move opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with APAC channel partners (resellers, MSPs, distributors) to source, progress, and close partner‑influenced deals.
• Work closely with Pre‑Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to deliver a world‑class buying experience adapted to regional business culture.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline reporting in Salesforce, leveraging Outreach, Gong, and other tools to drive productivity.
• Manage the procurement process from quote to close and ensure smooth handover to onboarding and delivery teams.

Required profile

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, technology, or a related sector.
• Comfortable with full‑cycle selling: prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and closing.
• Strong curiosity, drive, and a growth mindset to build a successful SaaS sales career across diverse APAC markets.
