Account Executive, Advisory (M&A Sales)

About the role

Intralinks, a division of SS&C Technologies, is hiring an Account Executive for its Advisory role in Sydney, Australia, working in a hybrid model. The role represents Intralinks to a diverse client base including financial advisors, investment banks, boutique advisory firms, lawyers, consultants and corporates, guiding them through M&A due diligence and deal execution.

Key responsibilities

• Build and grow relationships with bankers, legal counsel, consultants and corporates so Intralinks is their go-to platform for M&A deals.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to deal negotiation and client onboarding.
• Educate clients on key platform features and identify cross-sell opportunities across investment banking and adjacent functions.
• Execute strategic account plans for key clients, setting goals, action steps and KPIs.
• Drive product adoption through outreach, product demonstrations and participation in industry events.
• Collaborate with global product, customer service, legal and billing teams to deliver seamless client experiences.

Required profile

• 2-4 years of experience in B2B sales, financial services or technology, ideally with exposure to SaaS or financial software.
• Fluent English and the main business language of your local market.
• Client-focused, ownership-driven and resilient, able to handle multiple deals in a fast pace.
