Account Director, Enterprise (ANZ)

About the role

OpenAI's Go To Market team helps customers learn how to use and deploy its AI products. Its Sales team drives opportunities through the whole sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closure, working with researchers, engineers and solution strategists. This Account Director, Enterprise role covers accounts across ANZ and is based in the Sydney office, with a hybrid model of 3 days in the office per week and relocation assistance for new employees.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a territory of accounts across ANZ, developing and executing strategies for a comprehensive account plan
• Lead enterprise prospects from consideration to successful deployment
• Partner with solutions and research engineering to build and run complex customer programs and projects
• Own a consumption revenue target and manage consumption revenue forecasts
• Analyze key account metrics to create reports and give insights to internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor the industry landscape (people, competitors, partners) to feed the product roadmap and corporate strategy
• Work with solutions, marketing, communications, business operations, people operations, finance, product management and engineering
• Support recruitment, onboarding, company culture and the hiring of teammates

Required profile

• 7+ years selling platform-as-a-service and/or software-as-a-service
• Revenue targets of more than $2M per year for more than 3 years
• Experience designing and executing complex deal strategies and supporting fast-growing, high-performance companies
• Direct work with C-level executives and leading high-visibility customer events
• Gathering and processing complex market intelligence
