1:1 Marketing Specialist

About the role

Kmart and Target are looking for a 1:1 Marketing Specialist to join their team in Chadstone. You will help execute and optimise personalised multi-channel marketing campaigns, driving customer engagement, loyalty, retention and commercial outcomes. The role works alongside a digital agency partner.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute targeted multi-channel 1:1 marketing campaigns aligned to business and customer engagement objectives.
• Build and manage audience segments to deliver personalised customer communications and experiences.
• Monitor campaign performance and report on engagement, conversion and revenue outcomes.
• Analyse campaign and customer data and recommend improvements.
• Brief, run and manage A/B testing to optimise creative content and customer journeys.
• Work with Marketing, Online Trade, Design, Data Analytics, Compliance and Product teams.
• Support the rollout of new marketing technologies, including AI integration and automations.

Required profile

• 3+ years in 1:1, email, CRM and/or lifecycle marketing in a retail environment.
• Hands-on experience planning and running personalised 1:1 campaigns.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including external agencies, in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, time management and process mapping skills.

Required skills

• Marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Braze.
• A/B testing and optimisation.
• Customer segmentation, deliverability and 1:1 marketing best practices.
• Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI or Looker Studio.
• AI tools such as Co-pilot, ChatGPT and Gemini.
