Workday Functional Analyst (Chris21) – 12-Month Contract

About the role

Nine, Australia's largest locally owned media company, is hiring a Chris21/Workday Functional Analyst for a 12-month contract based in North Sydney. You will resolve integration touchpoints between Workday, Chris21 and key third-party platforms, reporting to the Lead Payroll Systems Analyst and working with cross-functional teams to fix system errors, optimise configurations and improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Triage and resolve integration errors between Workday, Chris21 and third-party systems
• Analyse integration logs, EIBs and payload files to restore automated data flows
• Manage and resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 ServiceNow support tickets
• Perform regular master data audits between platforms to ensure data synchronisation
• Translate business requirements into functional specs, custom reports and configuration updates
• Make configuration tweaks across Workday business processes and Chris21 interface files
• Support system testing, upgrades and bi-annual Workday platform releases and Chris21 upgrades

Required profile

• Functional configuration experience in Workday and core HCM modules
• Functional user experience with Chris21 and strong end-to-end payroll process knowledge
• Experience across the testing lifecycle, UAT and defect resolution
• Ability to explain technical details to business teams and to work autonomously
• Right to work and live in Australia
