Wealth Management Consultant (Contractor)

About the role

A rapidly expanding international wealth management firm, recruiting through Prestige IFA Jobs, is looking for a contractor Financial Consultant in Melbourne. The role combines business development with client relationship management, building a client base while delivering tailored investment solutions. The firm emphasises training, mentorship and career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business and manage and develop existing client relationships
• Conduct market research to understand client demographics and needs
• Engage prospective clients and present investment solutions
• Build and manage a portfolio of clients within a defined territory
• Deliver consultative financial advice and develop long-term client relationships
• Grow assets under management

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years of client-facing experience in wealth management or financial advisory
• Proven track record in sales and client relationship management
• Experience in business development and client acquisition
• Ability to work independently and manage your own time
• Ambitious, driven and target-oriented, with a proactive approach and strong sense of ownership
• Additional experience in property, asset management, FinTech, banking, FX, investment banking or sales/business development is advantageous
