Warranty Clerk - Automotive Industry

About the role

A busy, high-volume franchised dealership on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Warranty Clerk for its service department. The role reports to the service management team and focuses on the accurate and timely processing of manufacturer warranty claims, with close collaboration with Service Advisors, Technicians and management.

Key responsibilities

• Process manufacturer warranty claims accurately and on time
• Ensure all documentation meets required standards and claims are submitted within prescribed timeframes
• Work with Service Advisors, Technicians and management to resolve discrepancies and monitor outstanding claims
• Maintain accurate warranty records

Required profile

• Previous warranty administration experience in a franchised automotive dealership is highly desirable
• Sound understanding of manufacturer warranty procedures and dealership service operations
• Organised, methodical and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail and effective communication with workshop and administration staff
• Applicants must be physically located in Australia and be Australian or New Zealand citizens or hold a permanent residency visa

What we offer

• Remuneration of $70,000 to $75,000 depending on experience
• 7.6-hour working day
• Relocation assistance considered for suitably qualified candidates
