VP of Marketing

About the role

The VP of Marketing will own global demand generation execution across multiple workstreams, reporting directly to the CEO. Based in Sydney with a hybrid schedule, you will lead a team of 7 across performance marketing, content engineering, design, operations and product marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Own the performance of the demand generation engine, including content production, paid media, and marketing operations infrastructure.
• Define and manage the marketing organisation, headcount, budget, and performance of function leads.
• Set quarterly initiative planning, metrics, and cadence, cutting under‑performing initiatives.
• Define the boundary between marketing and product‑led growth, ensuring clear hand‑off of prospects.
• Drive AI adoption within the department, prioritising automation such as lead scoring and campaign optimisation.

Required profile

• Senior leader with experience scaling demand generation in a fast‑growing tech company.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and influence executive stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on measurable outcomes and ROI.

Required skills

• SEO and AEO strategy implementation.
• Google Ads (AdWords) campaign management.
• Meta (Facebook) retargeting.
• AI‑driven marketing tools, including lead scoring and campaign optimisation.
