Video Editor (Creative Performance)

About the role

Eucalyptus, part of Juniper AU, is looking for a fast, prolific video editor with a sharp eye for what works on paid social. You will cut content across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms where customers spend their time, working in an experienced in-house creative team and reporting to the Senior Producer. The work moves quickly, the volume is high and the bar on craft is strong.

Key responsibilities

• Edit end to end: cut, sound, colour, captions, motion and exports for high-volume paid social, organic and brand work.
• Shoot regularly alongside the team on studio days and smaller solo jobs, learning from experienced creatives on bigger shoot days.
• Capture behind-the-scenes and social-ready moments, such as BTS beats and genuine reactions.
• Edit natively to each platform, from the first frame, and work with the Performance and Social teams to understand what converts.
• Contribute creative ideas to briefs, suggest references and push back constructively.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of editing at pace, in-house, agency or freelance, with a reel showing range and a feel for performance-driven content.
• Performance-literate: understands hooks, pacing and retention, and reads edits as ad units.
• Strong shooting fundamentals: composition, light, sound and a calm hand on a small set.
• Keen to learn, takes feedback well and communicates clearly and proactively.
• Empathetic on set, especially for content related to women's health.

Required skills

• Tool-agnostic editing: DaVinci, CapCut or others, depending on what gets the job done.
• Understanding of how content feels on each social platform.
