Social Media Content Creator (Pet Brands)

About the role

Orchard, a creative agency within the Enero Group, is growing its team and is looking for a Content Creator who loves animals as much as they love making things. This is a hands-on, high-output role embedded in the strategy team, owning the end-to-end creation of social-first content for three brands across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. The work connects with pet owners across the US market and translates science into human stories to deliver important health messages to Australians.

Key responsibilities

• Own the organic social media content plans for three brands
• Concept, script, shoot and edit short-form video content (TikToks, Reels, Stories) tailored to each brand's voice and audience
• Explore the use of AI tools to scale creative production
• Film content featuring dogs and cats, maintaining a consistent visual aesthetic within brand guidelines
• Research platform trends, algorithm priorities and emerging formats to keep content fresh and drive organic reach
• Write copy for social assets and schedule and publish content
• Engage with user-generated content on TikTok and Instagram and report on content performance
• Contribute to social media strategic reviews and build strong relationships with the client team

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in content creation, UGC, social media or a similar creative role
• A strong portfolio of short-form content (essential, to include with the application)
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
• Passion for pets and ability to connect authentically with pet owner audiences
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced account
• Prior healthcare communications experience is desirable but not essential

Required skills

• Video editing tools such as CapCut, Edits, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or equivalent mobile-first tools
• Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma preferred
• Hands-on experience with AI image and content generation platforms is a plus
