Veterinary Nurse – Part‑Time across Wellington Rd & Mount Barker

About the role

Greencross Wellington Road and Mount Barker are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to work part‑time across both clinics (minimum 3 days/week, ~24+ hrs). You will provide nursing care, support veterinarians and contribute to a collaborative, fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general nursing duties including pre‑ and post‑operative care.
• Support medical, surgical, pathology and hospital patients, including emergency and critical care.
• Monitor anaesthesia, assist with patient recovery and assist veterinarians during consultations and procedures.
• Maintain hygiene of practice areas, surgical suites and equipment.
• Handle client enquiries in person, by email and phone, and provide reception/administrative support when needed.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years clinical veterinary nursing experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with RxWorks (preferred).
