Veterinary Nurse – Full/Part Time

About the role

Join Greencross Deeragun as a Veterinary Nurse in a modern, well‑equipped clinic serving the Townsville community. You will work alongside experienced veterinarians, providing hands‑on care to a diverse caseload in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, surgeries and procedures.
• Prepare the surgical theatre, monitor anaesthesia and support patient recovery.
• Perform dental procedures, radiography and process pathology samples.
• Administer medications, provide hospital patient care and monitor recovery.
• Educate clients on animal health and maintain clinic cleanliness and infection control.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong communication and client care skills.
• Positive attitude, reliable work ethic and team‑first approach.
