Veterinary Nurse – Casual Role

About the role

Join Greencross Preston as a casual Veterinary Nurse, supporting a close‑knit team in a modern, well‑equipped clinic. You’ll be hands‑on with a variety of animals, including exotics, and play a key part in delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in consults and surgeries, monitoring anaesthetics and patient recovery.
• Provide medical and nursing care, including client communication and follow‑up.
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly day‑to‑day, covering annual and personal leave as needed.

Required profile

• Certificate IV qualified with 2+ years’ experience as a veterinary nurse.
• Confident, organised, able to multitask and work well with both animals and people.
• Reliable team player who enjoys contributing to a supportive, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Experience with digital X‑ray and ultrasound equipment.
• Familiarity with in‑house pathology and modern surgical/dental tools.
• Ability to monitor anaesthetics and manage patient recovery.
