About the role

Greencross Vet is seeking qualified veterinarians and specialists to join its nationwide network of clinics, delivering high‑quality medical and surgical care to animals.

Key responsibilities

• Treat animals medically and surgically, prescribing drugs, analgesics and anaesthetics.
• Perform diagnostic imaging using radiography and ultrasound.
• Conduct surgeries, wound dressing, fracture setting and obstetric services.
• Implement disease‑prevention programs, vaccinate and test for infectious diseases, and report outbreaks.
• Carry out autopsies to determine cause of death and advise clients on nutrition, hygiene and breeding.

Required profile

• Registered veterinarian with full qualification.
• Relevant clinical experience; international vets need minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience for possible sponsorship.

Required skills

• Radiography and ultrasound imaging.
• Administration of general and local anaesthetics.
• Surgical techniques and wound management.
• Obstetric procedures for animals.
• Disease surveillance and vaccination protocols.
• Conducting autopsies.
