Vascular Surgery Registrar / Senior Registrar / Fellow

About the role

Metro North Health is offering a fixed-term temporary, full-time position in a vascular surgery training program in Brisbane. The role combines specialist patient care, teaching and research with rotations across major Queensland hospitals, including tertiary and regional centres.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a mix of elective and emergency vascular surgery cases, building expertise in complex surgical and endovascular procedures.
• Gain experience in outpatient clinics, operating theatres and on-call services while delivering high-quality patient care.
• Contribute to research, clinical audit and service improvement initiatives.
• Support and mentor registrars, junior doctors and medical students.
• Lead and take part in major teaching and educational programs.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to improve vascular surgery outcomes.
