Undergraduate Structural Engineer

About the role

Robert Bird Group (RBG), a member of the SJ Group, is a global consulting engineering firm specialising in structural, civil and specialist engineering. It is recruiting Undergraduate Structural Engineers for its Brisbane structures (buildings) and construction engineering team, working on some of the most complex projects in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of major industry projects and local community ventures
• Assist in preparing proposals, reports and other documents
• Work alongside colleagues through a buddy system
• Take part in industry events and networking opportunities
• Join a large, diverse community of graduates across ANZ

Required profile

• Third or penultimate year of study in a relevant engineering degree
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to manage own time and workload

Required skills

• Developed knowledge of analytical methods, tools and principles
