About the role

SMEC, part of the Surbana Jurong Group, is offering paid Undergraduate Engineer positions across Australia. The role provides real‑world engineering experience while you continue your studies, with exposure to live projects in civil, structural, geotechnical, transport, water, sustainability, electrical and mechanical disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineering design, modelling and analysis activities.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and project documentation.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary project delivery teams.
• Gain exposure to site work and field activities where relevant.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree (civil, structural, environmental, mechanical, electrical or related).
• Interest in infrastructure, sustainability or the built environment.
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn.
• Ability to work well in collaborative team environments.
